Frequently Asked Questions
This is a semiconductor electric humidor. The semiconductor technology limits this humidor's temperature/ humidity control, which is affected by ambient temperature.
1. Temperature Control and Display:
- Temperature Adjustment: A steady difference of approximately 12℃ between this cigar cabinet's lowest attainable temperature and the current ambient temperature. For example, at an ambient temperature of 30℃ (86℉), the cabinet can drop to a minimum of 18℃(64.4℉).
- Temperature display: The cabinet temperature is dynamically adjusted in real time to achieve temperature equilibrium. After reaching a steady state, the temperature accuracy is ±4℉. Although the temperature inside the cabinet may fluctuate slightly at the micro level, the display presents the average value.
2. Humidity Control and Display:
- Humidity Adjustment: It will be affected by the preset temperature value, and dehumidification will be automatically turned on at low temperatures, such as the temperature is set to 15℃ (59℉), which will turn on the automatic dehumidification capability, limiting the maximum humidity value to 65%.
- Humidity Display: Like the temperature display, the humidity inside the cabinet is also under constant dynamic adjustment, and after reaching the equilibrium state, the temperature accuracy is ±5%RH. You may notice that if you use a highly sensitive hygrometer to monitor the humidity inside the cabinet independently, you may observe slight variations in humidity; however, the hygrometer display in the cigar cabinet remains relatively constant, which is due to a scientific algorithm that calculates and displays an average of the humidity inside the cabinet, ensuring that you see a smooth reading representative of the overall humidity condition. When the humidity level inside the cabinet changes, the system responds immediately by activating the humidity equalization mode to restore ideal humidity conditions.
